🌺 DESCRIPTION:

Rivertown Press & Paperie would like to introduce our cone-shaped letterpressed wedding favor box! Our dark little bundle of joy can hold treats for your guests such as nuts, candies, and ornaments. The box can be presented on each place setting, or (if tied with a longer ribbon) hung on the back of a chair.

We will letterpress the design of your choice (quote, monogram, words of gratitude or Victorian ornamentation). Your boxes will arrive assembled, glued and shipped flat. All you need to do is fill them, close them, and tie them up with the ribbon of your choice.

Black cone boxes can be letterpressed with silver or gold metallic ink on heavy black paper or letterpressed with the ink color of your choice on warm white cotton paper.

Designs letterpressed onto the cone box can coordinate with any design offered at Rivertown Press. We especially love our boxes produced with the Gothic style!

The full length of item is 8.5". Interior space is 6.25" long with a 2.75" square at the wide end.

Highly individual and sculptural in its results, letterpress printing marks the revival of elegant, social correspondence. It was the predominant form of printing until the 1940s. Today, only a small amount of high-quality art and hobby letterpress printing remain.

Rivertown Press & Paperie captures the delicate beauty and tactile warmth that is so often lost in more modern printing techniques. Letterpress print is done by hand one piece at a time. Please understand subtle variations in inking, color, impression, and position are inherent to the process.

All letterpress pieces are printed using your ink color choice (silver or gold).

Please communicate what design you would like letterpressed onto your cone boxes, total quantity and what color ink you desire.

After you have communicated your request, I will give you a total cost estimate which will include, design, typesetting, plates, letterpress printing, paper, all labor and shipping. After you review the project estimate, you may proceed with placing an order by purchasing a deposit listing that will be set up for you. I will post a "Design Deposit" listing in my shop with your name on it for you to purchase. I will send you a link to that listing through the Etsy chat box. The Design Deposit is 50% of the total.

You purchase the Deposit listing by "Adding to Cart" and being prompted through the transaction process.

✏️ NOTE: By purchasing the DEPOSIT, you are reserving space in my design/print schedule. Your project will be scheduled to print according to your wedding date and my availability, not according to when you purchased the deposit. I am regularly managing several projects at a time, so your cones boxes may be scheduled to print a few months after you paid the deposit.
