This wax delays brass oxidation, allowing it to maintain its original patina for a long time. Cleaning is simple--just give it a gentle rub with a microfiber cloth. * PLACING YOUR SUNCATCHER * Ideally, your suncatcher should be placed in front of a south-facing window, but you can also place it anywhere as long as it's in direct light. The placement of your suncatcher will yield different effects: Near a wall, it will create an intense but concentrated effect in a specific area, whereas near a window, it will produce a more ambient and gentle effect. The ambient brightness also influences the intensity of the suncatcher's effect: In darker rooms, the effect will be more intense. IIn brighter rooms, the effect will be more diffuse.
