Hi Guys, Lauren here! I'm giving you a peek inside my daughter Charlotte's nursery nook I created for her in our guest room. We didn't have an extra room for her (total third child problems, amirite?), and we didn't want to give up our guest bedroom (none of our parents live in town!), so I went to work creating a neutral nursery NOOK.
My husband and I live in San Francisco in a two bedroom condo. We wanted to leave the second bedroom open for the many guests planning to visit, so we chose to create a nursery in the small room off of our master bedroom. I knew we'd have to be careful not to crowd the room if we wanted to achieve a bright and airy space that mimics the rest of our home. Once we found out we were having a baby boy I jumped right in with the planning! Together we decided to go with a modern, neutral space.
With my second baby’s nursery, I am working with a much smaller space than I had with my first. As we search for our next home with more space, we are making it work with this small but sweet nursery nook. I learned with my first babe that I will be sleeping in the room with her for several months. Therefore, I decided to create a partial nursery nook/bedroom combo.
