Shirts and buttons. I like the concept. I'd do a quilt like this in pretty fabric and instead of quilting it just sew buttons in the middle of each square (do smallish squares).

giant star Talk about fast! I'll bet this would be a fun fat quarter quilt, just cut 18 x 18 inch squares, scrappy binding. // done! april 2013. came out super cute, added 5" of white sashing so corners aren't cut off by binding. still needs to be quilted and bound, but the top is super cute.
