Night falls over Rotterdam. Standing on the north bank of the river Nieuwe Maas, we have a good view of some Rotterdam bridges.. In the middle are the two towers of De Hef, the former railway bridge which now has the status of a national monument. Less noticable, just behind De Hef, is Koninginnebrug, or Queens Bridge. Both bridges are spanning the Koningshaven, or Kings Harbour between the district Feyenoord, left, and the Noordereiland, right.
