The goldsmithing and silversmithing made from wires of different metals, was a technique widely used not only by Scandinavian peoples, but by many other cultures from different epoques. In the Viking context, this piece could be dated in the 10th-11th century, just like similar models found in Gotland, Sweden. However, another piece very similar to this one was found at Monte Bernorio, Palencia, Spain. An archaeological site dated from the 3rd century BC. This bracelet is made of brass wire.
