Mom's Mushroom Stew Upstate New York Style Recipe
There are two recipes for a Mushroom stew that mom and my Aunt made back in the 1960s. They are both different and delicious so you can choose from memory which one you prefer. One is made with sausage the other boneless meat.

Mushrooms are meant to go in a tomato base with onions, green peppers & lots of parm on top (yes, the Kraft kind). Oddly, I don't remember the sausage in it from grandma's version, so I think that can be omitted. Delish!
