a bulletin board hanging on the wall next to a green trash can
This is cell phone parking. My 7th and 8th graders drop their cell phones off as they come in to the room and pick them up on the way out. If a phone goes off while it's in parking, there's no consequence but if a phone goes off in a students' pocket, they have to turn it over to me and it must be picked up by a parent. This has solved all my cell-phone problems!

Mobile phone hotel for my English classroom. When asked (e.g. during tests) students put their phones in their 'room' of the hotel so they will not be able to use them when not allowed.
