Fireworks over city, 5th grade originally. Wonderful combination of black and white designs (possibly zentangles?) and color!

cityscape elementary art lesson - I love the black line drawing against the richly colored skies.

What makes this work, besides the tight color relationship in the blues, is the outlining of the multiple layers. This could be a handsome project for very young children if you control the palette when they create the papers.

landscape draw lines for land. in each space use one color crayon to create texture rubbing. paint a wash with same color. use opposite color for sun in sky. Can also use salt on watercolor. Create different values of color.

Cool city perspective art project.

or Grade Perspective - - looks like construction paper squares as the roofs with the houses drawn down from there. Love the colors, too!

June 2015: Inspired by New York Artist Kelsey Montague's 'What Lift's You' wing murals. Silver pen on black.

June Inspired by New York Artist Kelsey Montague's 'What Lift's You' wing murals. use black/silver transfer paper

drawing using textures | Have a variety of textures: soft, smooth, rough, etc.

The first, ninth, and last texture pallets would be great for the texture element of my business card.
