Our Educational Alligator Exhibits hold about 25 American Alligators. These gators are a bit spoiled and will not be released into the wild. They have never had to hunt for their food, besides the occasional fishing, therefore would not survive on their own. They will live a full life helping educate people on their important role in nature. It is illegal to feed an alligator in the wild but Smugglers Cove is a licensed exhibit where you can read about and interact with these amazing reptiles.
