"Zwartboek," a Dutch film that's quite possibly the best war movie I've ever seen, possibly even the best movie period. I love how all the little things that happen turn out to actually be connected, and it really is a masterpiece.
Directed by Paul Verhoeven. With Carice van Houten, Sebastian Koch, Thom Hoffman, Halina Reijn. In the Nazi-occupied Netherlands during World War II, a Jewish singer infiltrates the regional Gestapo headquarters for the Dutch resistance.
