Mossbrae Falls is a waterfall flowing into the Sacramento River, in the Shasta Cascade area in Dunsmuir, California. Access to the falls is via a mile-long hiking trail on the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. The route begins at the Shasta Retreat on Scarlett Way in Dunsmuir. Why did I not know about this when I lived in Tahoe?
