Combine getting to know you, writing and craft all in one: Each student designes his/her toilet paper owl, writes 3 facts (random number I chose) on paper, then places the paper in the owl (tube). It could be a "Whooo's in Our Class?" center. Older grades could write 2 truths and 1 fib about themselves to add to the mystery....just an idea!
