Bottom of a rare Alvar Aalto Savoy vase 140mm produced by Karhula Glassworks 1936. Blown in a cut-out wood mould, only 20 vases produced per mould due to burn issues. After 1954 vases are produced with a cast iron mould. You can see the structure of the three in the glass of the vase. Also form/height differs from productions after 1954.
