I'd like to take a long bicycle ride with flowers in my basket around Amsterdam (even though I don't know how to ride a bike) .

Zaanse Schans,Holland.Here is where the very first renowed Dutch "Albert Hein " supermarket started, in the early 1900´s.There are stil some original items from that period of time exposed.Really nice !

Stroopwafels. My heart aches when I see these. They're just that bittersweet. I love them so much, but I get them so little.

Stroopwafels are very common snacks in the Netherlands. This is made from two thin layers of baked dough with a caramel syrup filling in the middle. They are recommended to be placed above a hot drink for a minute to make them even more delicious.

I love Windmill Cookies... Reminds me of when I was a kid and after church, I would grab a windmill cookie. And my Mom always said that my hero, my Great Grandma Policka, would make windmill cookies. I so wish that I could have had some of her's :( Someday...
