...so how much more intimate, personal, and "straight to Jesus" in this relationship with God do we wanna get? We do realize that He had to institute this relationship Himself, and that we couldn't have DIY'ed it, right? Our own unbelief should clue us in: is THIS what we and our fallible imaginations and impatience would've come up with? If we say that we take accepting Christ as our Savior seriously, then why don't we want to accept the ways and means by which He saves us?
