Global Week For Syria is a movement for peace led by hundreds of musicians, artists, creatives, and intellectuals standing for peace and making a difference in the present and future of Syria. Through music, art, and culture, Global Week For Syria brings to life the possibility that Syria would once again take its place as a beacon of rich culture, deep history, and unwavering hope for human compassion and understanding.

Ibrahim Kevo is a Syrian singer from Al-Hassakeh. Infusing his work with the roots of traditional Syrian music, he is one of few singers to have developed the Arab, Syriac, Armenian, Kurdish and Hazki traditions and to have enriched the musical heritage of Northern Syria. He is also famous for playing the typical instruments of this region, such as buzuq, saz and baghlama.

Ten Printed "Reaching for the Sacred"   "Reaching for the Sacred" is a show which blends singing, music and dance around the sacred and the spiritual. Three young women, Mukaddas Mijit from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (China), Lynn Adib from Damascus, Syria, and Sandrine Monlezun from France, met in Paris and formed a friendship built on their curiosity towards the each other's culture and on their own artistic experience.
