Should You Wait For Mortgage Rates to Go Back to 3%?
Mortgage rates have slightly dipped to 6.85%, but remain well above the pandemic-era 3% levels. Experts cite economic factors like inflation and Fed policy as reasons why rates are likely to stay between 6–7% through 2025. A return to 3% mortgage rates is considered highly unlikely in the near future.
