Tri Shutter Meets White by LynniePoo - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I had to make another Tri Shutter card - this time in white. I decided a little color would be good, though, so I matted everything with Baja Breeze. You can find the tutorial here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/trishuttercard/. I also wanted to make it with a sideways orientation. I used stamps from Elegant Greetings - thought they fit with the elegance of white. I used textured white paper throughout. I embossed some sections with a Swiss Dots CB folder and…

New shutter card -- this one is a little different than the other one I pinned--bjg

Tutorial: Tri-Shutter Card

Tri-Shutter Card Trifold cards look their best when standing open for display. They can be made in a variety of different sizes with slight variations to the measurements of each tier to give different looks. The one shown here has equal proportions to make construction a little easier, but once you have figured out the basics you can fiddle with the measurements depending on what embellishments you wish to use. 1. Start with a horizontal piece of cardstock measuring 6" x 12". 2. Refer to…

My Buttons n'Bows: Tri Fold Card & directions

Tri Fold Card & directions

Jan.14/11 Here is a different tri-fold card. I saw this card here and thought it was a really neat fold. I hadn't seen one like it before. I had a problem getting the other one to fold flat, maybe I did something wrong, but since I wanted mine to be smaller, I went ahead and re-worked it to make a smaller version. Here are the instructions for the smaller tri-fold card. You can click on any of the pictures to get a better view of the measurements. Here is the template - the solid lines are…

A Different Kind of Tri Fold Card by Beejo - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I recently came across this type of card online. I liked that it was a bit different than any I had seen before. I layered the designer paper onto beige card stock, and inked all the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink. The bow was ivory which I coloured with copper shimmer spray. (hard to tell here, but it matches the paper very well) I tied he bow using my home made tool. (based on the bow easy) The hat is a digi image coloured with Copics, layered and popped up. I used a sentiment that…
