It is telling of our culture that an accomplished woman like Audrey Hepburn with a fascinating life story would be remembered only for her looks. If women were truly viewed as whole human beings and not purely as sex objects or background decorations, such a thing would be laughable. The problem is not about if we (sometimes) behave sexually or how we dress; the problem is that society refuses to look beyond the surface.
