LEGO Sculpture took me +/- 50 hours over the course of 3 weeks. Charmander is 61cm tall, comprised of +/-6000 bricks and weighs 9kg ( slightly overweight according to bulbapedia). Plates were used in the tail and feet/legs, rest is almost exclusively bricks. An updated MOC of my favorite Pokémon Porygon. I made a MOC very similar to this in 2014, albeit using red and medium blue pieces, and it was less articulated. This version goes for the more traditional pinkish hue and can rotate its head. I was a fan of the franchise long before it was released in the U.S., back in the late '90s when it was on the verge of debuting. And now the family is complete. Had to remake him to bring up his quality to match the others. Black is the easiest color to build with but that means there are exponentially more ways to make the same model.

I love how this model came out. I thought medium lavender would be hard to work with but I was able to manage it quite effectively.
